Ermanno Celeste Tortia

Ermanno Celeste Tortia is an associate professor at the University of Trento, Department of Economics and Management. His research activity focuses on the institutionalist theory of the firm, organization studies and systems, personnel economics, and human resource management (HRM) as applied to third-sector organizations (social enterprises, non-profit organizations, and cooperatives enterprises) and on local economic development. He is a member of the teaching committee of the Ph.D. program in Sustainability: Economics, Environment, Management and Society (SusTEEM) at the Doctoral School in Social Sciences, University of Trento, where he lectures on Stakeholder Theory and Corporate Social Responsibility. Prof. Tortia is associated with Euricse (European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises, in Trento).
