Federico Barnabè, PhD, is Associate Professor in Business Administration at the Department of Business Studies and Law, University of Siena (Italy). Previously, Federico was a visiting researcher at the University of Bergen (Norway) and Roehampton University (UK). His main research interests include Management Accounting, Performance Measurement, Lean Strategy, and Simulation and Gaming (with particular reference to System Dynamics). He has published in several Italian and international journals on these topics, such as Journal of Management and Governance, Simulation & Gaming, Journal of Accounting & Organizational Change, International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management. He was Co-Editor of the Rivista di Contabilità e Cultura Aziendale, Guest Editor for the journal Kybernetes, and is currently a member of the scientific committee of Management Control.
